Spam of Steel


It’s a slow Wednesday night, let’s see what my loyal spammers have been up to.  Seems like my piece on Letters to Whitechapel really brought out some enthusiastic gamers.  As if.

I’m pretty sure this first spammer really meant what he said.  After all, his screen name is Earnest.  And he’s actually pretty complimentary, saying some lovely things about the post, and expressing a —

Whoa whoa whoa.  Nice of you to ask permission first, but dude, I’ve only just met you.  Nobody grabs my RSS feed on the first date, okay?  Let’s get to know each other a bit, find out what we have in common, then maybe we can talk about feed grasping.  Geez.

KimKardashianVideoTape chimed in next, and they’ve left me terribly confused:

After all I will be subscribing on your feed and I hope you write once more very soon!

If you only want me to write once more, subscribing doesn’t seem entirely necessary.  Hell, I’ll shoot you an email when my last blog is posted.  Which should be this one, I guess.  Hope it’s very soon enough!  Then maybe you can tell me what Kim Kardashian video tape you could possibly be talking about….

Finally, though, comes some genuine if awkwardly phrased praise.  Which comes with the territory, but I’ll take it:
